According to the Divers Alert Network (D.A.N), most scuba diving accidents occur when an individual becomes lost, disoriented or left behind when diving with a buddy or group. This scenario cannot occur with Snuba. Every participant is connected to the surface raft via the airline. The hoses cannot exceed required depths and cannot exceed 20 feet of distance from one another.
